The Hikvision DS-1LN6U-SC0 is only sold as an original 305-meter (1,000 ft) bulk spool, meaning pre-cut 1-meter lengths are not officially manufactured or packaged as individual 1m retail patch cables by Hikvision. You can buy the full 305m orange box and cut a 1m piece yourself.

Making a 1-Meter Patch Cable
- Pull 1 meter of cable from the Hikvision box and cut it with wire cutters.
- Strip about 1 inch of the orange outer jacket on both ends.
- Arrange the eight internal wires using the T568B wiring standard (Orange-White, Orange, Green-White, Blue, Blue-White, Green, Brown-White, Brown).
- Trim the tips flat and push them fully into an RJ45 modular plug.
- Use a crimping tool to lock the pins down onto the copper wires.
