Installation Steps
- Strip back the outer PVC jacket of your Cat5e cable carefully by about 1 inch.
- Untwist the four twisted pairs and arrange the individual colored wires into the T568A or T568B standard order.
- Trim the ends straight and flat so they match evenly.
- Push the wires firmly into the RJ45 modular plug until the copper ends reach the front.
- Use a standard RJ45 crimping tool to lock the pins down onto the wires.
